What services do you provide?
Argenta Private Capital (APCL) is a specialist capital adviser in Lloyd’s insurance market, advising over 500 individual and corporate investors, who currently support over £4.5bn gross written premium. We consult with our clients over their risk appetite and expected return profile and build a portfolio of syndicates that meets their needs, connecting our clients, typically HNW and UHNW individuals, with the best performing syndicates at Lloyd’s. APCL offers a full service that is tailored to our clients: from onboarding and structuring advice, to helping them choose their syndicates, managing their Lloyd's portfolio and providing them with ongoing tax and accounting support.
Please describe a recently completed project:
Kate recently worked on and announced a unique partnership between APCL and Helios Underwriting PLC which provides investors with a unique way to access the Lloyd’s of London market. The exclusive arrangement enables clients to participate in a portfolio of syndicates, curated by Helios’ CEO Martin Reith without the need to own the underlying capacity. These new investment vehicles are a simple and efficient way for individuals to access Lloyd’s returns.
What does Dura mean to you?
At Argenta Private Capital, we are lucky enough to have long-standing relationships with many of our clients, sometimes over several generations. We understand that families that are empowered and financially aware are in a much better position to achieve genuine financial resilience, well-being and make long term decisions. Dura’s work aimed at women complements what we do at APCL to ensure that important financial decisions are made with as much information as possible, and with clarity about the outcomes that individuals and families are looking to achieve.
