About the dura society

What started as a supper club for a select group of close friends to share their goals and ambitions back in 2016 has now turned into a platform and network to help individuals harness healthy financial habits and take control of their wealth.

Based on the philosophy of Eudaimonia, Aristotle’s principle for human flourishing, we aim to present finance in an empathetic and intelligent format.

Our core focus is on:

  1. Women - we are advocates for equality for all sexes, whether through work, caregiving, opportunity or ambition.

  2. Wealth - we strive to educate and inspire individuals to take control of their own wealth.

  3. Well-being - we look to share knowledge of healthy habits for both finances and mental health.

In addition to growing an exclusive community of ambitious and intelligent individuals we work with likeminded brands and organisations to create events, content and a curated network for you.

Our network includes a number of legal, accounting, art, fitness, beauty, nutrition and therapeutic specialists. We only work with recognised practitioners with a track record of delivering the highest standards of service. We understand the importance of discretion in providing personal services, and we ensure that our partners value this as highly as we do.

our founder

The Dura Society was founded by Lottie Leefe in 2016.

Years spent working in the financial services world showed Lottie that there was a gap in the market: a platform to connect individuals with relatable, engaging and motivating financial content.

Lottie studied Interdisciplinary Design at UWE Bristol, following which she worked in high-end residential property before going on to work at leading financial institutions including Cazenove Capital (Schroders) and St. James’s Place where she looked after some of the world’s wealthiest families.

Lottie understands how finance, a field once associated exclusively with men, can have a huge influence on an individual’s everyday health and wellbeing.

It is Lottie's aim to inspire individuals to take control over their wealth. Whether that is by growing, enhancing or preserving it for the next generation.

She is a member of the Personal Finance Society, The Financial Therapy Association and an ambassador for Insuring Women’s Futures.

She holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and the Certificate in Discretionary Fund Management through the Chartered Institute of Insurance.

Lottie has been featured in CityWire Wealth Manager magazine as a cover star and in Investment Week as a Rising Star in asset management.
