Lucy Chahil

Lucy is an experienced financial planner who specialises in helping clients through divorce.

Working alongside solicitors, she provides financial advice to those going through the divorce process with the aim of helping them attain financial security and taking control of their finances.

Lucy has a wealth of experience gained in her roles at Smith & Williamson (now Evelyn Partners) and Charles Stanley before joining IPS. Prior to financial planning, Lucy worked on the investment side as a hedge fund analyst.

Lucy is often featured in the national press on all aspects of financial planning.

Tell us about the bespoke services that you offer

As a divorce financial planning specialist, I help clients in pre-divorce, settlement negotiation and post-divorce financial management. When thinking about a divorce settlement, there are so many uncertainties and 'what if' questions. I help clients to understand what may be achievable in the future and the possible different scenarios for splitting marital assets.
