Fertility law touches some of the most personal and profound aspects of modern family life. In this intimate and invitation-only morning we will explore the practical, psychological, and physical aspects of Modern Families.

Following a networking breakfast, Lottie Leefe, founder of The Dura Society, will sit down in conversation with Amy Rowe, Partner at Hunters Law, to explore her professional and personal journey into this field, the misconceptions that still surround fertility law in the UK, and the evolving landscape around surrogacy, donor conception, and assisted reproduction.

The morning will conclude with a HUG masterclass by internationally recognised mind-body coach and fertility expert Zita West. Zita will guide you through The HUG Method a neuroscience-based practice that aligns your head, heart, and gut to unlock focus, confidence, and emotional resilience while protecting your long-term health.

IN CONVERSATION WITH AMY ROWE, FAMILY PARTNER, HUNTERS LAW

Amy will share insights on the emotional realities her clients face, how lawyers can support families beyond the technicalities, and the broader ethical and social questions shaping the future—from shifting definitions of “family” to the challenges of navigating privilege, access, and cultural context.

Why attend?

  • Hear first-hand insights from a leading fertility lawyer on both the legal and emotional realities.

  • Gain a clearer understanding of how fertility law really works in practice, and where the gaps and misconceptions still lie

  • Reflect on the emotional realities behind the legal process, and how professionals can support families with both empathy and expertise.

  • Leave with a richer, more nuanced perspective, one that blends legal insight with human experience.

This is a conversation for anyone curious about the intersection of law, society, and the deeply human stories at the heart of family-making.

HUG MASTERCLASS WITH ZITA WEST

In this powerful session for The Dura Society, internationally recognised mind-body coach and fertility expert Zita West will guide you through The HUG Method a neuroscience-based practice that aligns your head, heart, and gut to unlock focus, confidence, and emotional resilience while protecting your long-term health.

HUG stands for Heart, Uterus, Gut. HUG is a way of connecting and communicating to your mind and body’s innate wisdom. It is a transformational set of coaching tools and techniques that you can use to improve your health and fertility, overcome challenges and stress, and change fixed mindsets.

Research is now showing that we have more than one centre of neural activity. Apart from the brain, we also have the heart and the gut. Each neural centre, or brain, has its own prime function, which uses a different form of intelligence and ways of operating.

Through breathing and guided visualisation, you can communicate and connect with your mind and body, tapping into the different functions of each brain. And find out how modern science is starting to align with some of the intuitive ancient traditions that have been used in wellness and health for centuries.

You'll learn how to:

 - Think clearly under pressure and make better strategic decisions.

 - Activate courage and self-assurance in high-stakes situations.

 - Project credibility and composure no matter what's happening around you.

 - Protect your health from the hidden toll of stress through nervous system resets.

This is not mindfulness as you know it  it's a science-driven performance tool that combines cutting edge neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and physical wellbeing strategies. You'll leave with practical, on demand techniques to use in the boardroom, the courtroom, and everyday life.
